Our minerals Do Not contain Bismuth Oxychloride, an inexpensive filler, and heavy metal, a known skin irritant that makes the skin sensitive and can clog pores.  It should not be used in HD photography because it adds an artificial luster and iridescent sheen to the skin.  Most mineral powders and regular powders contain this ingredient.

 Purified Water- Carrier, it is primarily used as a solvent in cosmetics and personal care products to help dissolve ingredients in preparations. It also forms emulsions in which the oil and water components of the product are combined to form creams and lotions. Lastly, it helps to hydrate skin. 

 Glycerin (Kosher, Vegetable) -Humectant that attracts water to the skin.  Used as an emollient & binder. A sugar alcohol that is naturally derived.  It is part of the skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF).and is also a skin protectant.

Silica - An essential mineral that our body needs, supplying our cells with nutrients.  It’s vital for the sufficient binding of water in our cells.  Helps to rebuild connective tissue and restore wrinkled and sagging skin.  It binds 300 times its weight in water.  Creates a smooth matte finish. 

Coco-Caprylate - An emulsifier and emollient naturally derived from coconut oil that forms a protecting barrier on the skin.  Also penetrates the skin's surface and helps with skin regeneration.

Coco Glucosides/Coconut Alcohol-,l is a mixture of fatty alcohols derived from Coconut Acid.  ,  which are non-irritating and can be exceptionally beneficial for the skin.   A good type of fat, a good ingredient for dry skin, and in small amounts fine for any skin type as they give pleasing texture and help keep ingredients stable in products. They even moisturize the skin because of the natural fatty acid content.

Potassium Cetyl Phosphate- is the potassium salt of an organic phosphate ester that is used to boost SPF protection and used in sunscreens and a variety of cosmetics and personal care products as a surfactant and emulsifier.  

Kaolin (French Clay) -Derived from the mineral kaolinite.  It draws out impurities and toxins that cause clogged pores, clearing the skin of excess oil, dirt, and pollutants while balancing oil production, thus allowing makeup to stay on longer and have water and transfer-resistant features.  Hides imperfections and fine lines, also tones and tighten the skin with long-term use.    

Cetyl Alcohol NF - is a 95% pure and natural fatty alcohol from Coconut Oil. Fatty alcohols, are non- irritating and can be exceptionally beneficial for the skin.   It is used for its emollients and co-emulsifiers increasing the viscosity or thickness of the lotion.

Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil- Contains antioxidants including vitamins A, E, and C that reduce free radical damage to the skin and regenerate skin cells  Also contains anti-inflammatory phytosterols which are known to encourage new collagen production to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  Helps create a healthy glow to the skin, leaving it fresh and appealing.  It is used as an emollient and stabilizer.

Alchemilla Vulgaris (Lady's Mantle) Extract - An anti-inflammatory that soothes and alleviates dry and sensitive skin.  Reduces the appearance of swelling and also has astringent properties that effectively treat skin with large pores.

 Silybum Marianum Fruit (Milk Thistle) Extract- Helps maintain elastic fibers.  Contains properties that detoxify and soothe irritated and inflamed skin. Promotes healing and healthy cell growth and keeps your skin radiant.

 Ginko Biloba Leaf (Gingko Biloba) Extract- Improves cell energy, increases circulation, and aids in preventing capillary fragility.  It contains quercetin, a natural flavonoid, an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties.  In clinical studies, ginkgo Biloba used three times a day greatly decreased the development of vitiligo (the loss of pigmentation in the skin) and actually re-pigmented skin in some of the study subjects.  It is also found to improve skin protection from UVB rays and improve the production of collagen, which helps to keep the skin firm and youthful.
